I forced myself to do a bit of editing. This piece is really just a collection of aphorisms, but it’s something different from my norm. *shrug*

Polished version of the fifty_flashes ‘funeral’ (original post here.) Using for 100_original 'ends' (table.) Edited while in Alaska, with some minor bits added today.

I am feeling very much relieved that my Brit Lit II prof moved teh due date for that killer poetry project to Thursday. I doubt I'm going to come up with anything decent by then (I've hit 1K, but only one of them really fits in with what we've been studying thus far) I... still have a while? Right. :P I might post the poems later, just to see if people can shred them enough that they're salvageable.

Been procrastinating all afternoon on my AP French project (Vietnam, where everyone hates the French), translated an old piece I wrote in German. To reiterate on the notes for that, I have no idea where I lifted the concept from; I just know it's not mine and I'd much appreciate anyone who could help me give credit where due. Also, I had to muss with phrasings and such to get it to translate "well", take that as you will, asides from the normal "blegh, I sucked three months ago" fixerupper thing.  Concrit, enough foreshadowing as to the "identity"?

Methinks I'll also use this for 100_original 'enemies' (table.)

 

Yeah. I'm giving up on editing it. There's all kinds of holes left; if you could nag me about them, I'll try and get back to them somewhere between working on my stupid 30min French presentation in French on Vietnam, where everyone hates the French.  Oh, and did I mention I need to have 1K of poetry by Monday for a Brit Lit II? You'd think that'd be easy, but the only poetry that comes out is shit about unrequited love and watching people and it's so fucking annoying to read.

So, yeah. Here's the last section. Notes at end. Try not to eat the computer screen.

 

I'm feeling like shit right now, but here I go. One more scene after this, but it's the longest by far (4K) and it's going to be longer by the time I'm done editing.

And... yeah. Don't freak out about paradoxes and stuff just yet, please? I swear, I have a rational justification. Just... wait?

 

 

Flashback. Back when I did fanfic (AF fandom, for those on my flist who didn't know me then), the 12LH challenge had just sprung up. I had the bright idea of doing a parody including all of them, and I was very excited. Then I wrote it, and decided that it sucked and promptly forgot all about it in favor of drama.

Flash forward. Trash talked and generally complained about the parodies nominated for the 2006 Orion Awards. linwenilid promptly requested a parody of me; which I promptly ignored.

Current. Linwen's birthday. :-)

I'm going to post this in three parts, since it's pushing 12K (and I don't have the final few sections edited anyway.)

Right, I'm going to stop being a stupid and anal and just ask for feedback on my recent crop of shorts, since I've been editing and editing and I'm not getting anywhere. After I get some feedback here, I'll move on to write_away , and they'll rip me to shreds and I'll feel much better. Using for 100_original 's 'sight' prompt (table.)
